Climate Change Levy rates from 1 April 2028

This tax information and impact note is about the Climate Change Levy rates from 1 April 2028.

This measure confirms the Climate Change Levy rates from 1 April 2028.

The rates for:

  • gas and solid fuel will be increased by the retail price index
  • electricity main rate will be frozen from April 2028, at the 2027 to 2028 levels
  • liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will continue to be frozen
