AIDAN O’Brien’s is far and away the classiest performer in what is Europe’s richest two-year-old race (2.25pm), having already won the Group One Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh last week.

On ratings she looks miles clear of the majority of these and should make straightforward work of this if too much rain doesn’t fall.

That is a concern though and there are a couple at big prices worth chancing with so much rain about.

Jack Channon has an above-average crop of two-year-olds, and would be right up there with the best of them.

Having lost all chance on his debut at Bath in April, when stumbling late on, he then bumped into Adaay Of Scarlett at Newmarket next time.

There was no disgrace in that defeat as the winner has since been placed in Group Two races at Ascot, Newmarket and Goodwood.

has since won a maiden at Pontefract and a nursery at Nottingham, but he improved again when producing his best run yet to finish third in another nursery at Glorious Goodwood.

He is by a soft-ground winning French mare so conditions should be fine and is worth backing each-way at 25/1 with Ladbrokes and Coral (4 places).

The other one is the Adrian Keatley-trained who bolted up on rain-softened ground at Ayr last time.

He looks over-priced at 33/1 with William Hill and could easily reward each-way support.

I’d be happy to add the pair with Sun Goddess in a Quinella in search of a bumper return.
